We're getting ready to leave Hemet where our RV park is located. That is 12 miles from where Ashley lives. It's a nice park and we will likely stay here again. Even though we discovered we were parked on an ant hill and the little buggers took over our trailer last night. Doug spent the night cleaning and spraying. So far so good.
Last night we drove to Temecula to watch their fireworks display. As we started I saw that Albert was emailing Ashley to her cell phone. So I thought that I would shoot some video with my cell phone of the fireworks display. I emailed it to him after each clip and he texted me back from his email to send him more. He said it was like he was right there watching it with us. He's 12 hours ahead of us so when he's working days it our nights. So the timing was perfect. They had missed the fireworks on the ship because the weather was bad and made for some rough seas. So no steel beach picnic or fireworks for the Reagan. So I was glad that we could enjoy the show with him. Oh the wonders of technology. And thank goodness we chose the unlimited family plan for messaging.
We're going to meet Ashley for coffee on our way out of town. Then we'll head out for the next leg of the journey. Pearl is disappointed that Doug would not allow her to chase any of the rabbits in the RV park. She was thrilled to see her dog food disposed of because there were a couple of ants in the bowl. YUCK says Pearl.

We once put our tent on top of an ant hill. It was 12 noon and the ants were hiding to get out of the 120 degreee heat. With the tent on top it was a virtual oasis and they came out. It was the MOST HORRIBLE experience of my life. I lay down to take a nap while Jim and the kids went fishing. They came back to find me screaming and hitting the tent with a broom to get rid of the ants. I still feel them crawling all over my body. eeeoooow.
