Our first two nights were spent at Emma Woods State Park outside of Ventura. We got the last spot. Otherwise we would have been at a RV park in Ventura at $60 a night. Doug learned a lot about backing a big 35 foot trailer into a very narrow sloping spot between two big RVs. But we made it. Emma Woods SP is what used to be a very nice state park right on the beach. However a lot of the rv spaces have been closed because the coastline is slowly eroding taking with it some very nice rv spaces. We fear one day soon, the park will be closed due to the loss of spaces. But for $20 a night you really can't beat it.
So as you can see by the photo, Pearl enjoyed soaking up the sun along with running the sea gulls off her turf. Pearl no long nasty gray & white birds who poop all over everything.
